Yvaine - The evening star from Neil Gaiman’s Stardust.

This one is a little different from the rest of my Constellations. Firstly, she’s not technically a constellation but she is a star. Secondly, she’s my first human in the series. 

Neil Gaiman is my all time favourite author and I was inspired by his up and coming release of the Stardust: The Gift Edition (want) which looks like its going to be beautiful. I also looked at Edmund Dulac’s illustrations as he’s one of my favorite golden age illustrators and I wanted to emulate that kind of feel in this piece.
